Masterton, February 22. , The petition that is in , circulation asking that enemy subjects be interneJ is ridiculed by the great bulk of tho citizens. There are , only one or two enemy subjects in the town, and they are quite harmless, and the police have had'insufficient' to warrant apprehension. It is pointed out that naturalised Germans are not cnerfly subjects, but British subjects.
