PROJECTED MASSACRE
PREVENTED BY AMBASSADORS (Rec. February 21, midnight.) Cairo, February 20; Certain Turkish authorities in Palestine published pamphlets, urging the Moslems to stono non-Moslems to death. The German Ambassador at Washing-, ton wns informed of tbe dangor and telegraphed to his colleague at Constantinople. Thanks to the Amowcan Ambassador's intervention the Porte instated the Jerusalem authorities to protect i.on-Jlosloms.
Moreover, the disastrous defeat 'o£ the Turks at the Suez Canal salutarily; impressed the pamphleteers, who relins. quished the idea of a'massacro.
