FIELD NATURALIST CLUB
A well-attended meeting was held last night at the Public' Library for the purpose Of forming a field naturalist club. The following officers were elected:—President, Dr. L. Cockayne, K.K.S.; vice-presidents, Profeasor.H. B Kirk, Miss .Myers; committee, .Miss Castle, Miss Richardson, and 'Messrs. Cotton, Baillie, and Rilph; secretary and treasurer, Mr. E. Bruce Levy. It was decided to hold the first field excursion on Saturday, February 27, the club to meet at the entrance of Wilton's Bush at '2.45 p.m.
