SOMfi OF THE RECIPIENTS (Rec. February 20, 1.5 a.m.) • London, February 19. Viotoria Crosses are awarded to Lieutenant-Colonel Alexander, of the 119 th Battery, for bravery, eulogised on August 24. At the time it was impossible- to organise a general counter-attack. Captain Valentine, of the South Staffordshire Battalion, killed while leading the attack at Lillobecko on November 7.
