HEAVY DAMAGES IN GISBORNE. (By Itelcffrap)!.—Press Association.) Cisborne, Febraary 18. The insurances on last night's fira total £3400—£1200. on the building .and £2200 on the stocks of the various occupants. The., fire originated'in the tear rooms . the proprietors of which were Mr. and Mrs. West. They had a narrow escape. Slight damage was done to the new National Bank Buildings adjoining. The fire brigade mado an excellent save, preventing the, fire from beinc driven by high , westerly wind and speradns to the Albon Hotel.
