NEW REGULATIONS. New regulations under the War Re« gulations Act were gazetted yesterday making it illegal for sellers of liquor or other nersons to supplv liquor to soldiers in uniform for consumption off the premises where it is sold or otherVise supplied. ■. Following is the text of the new regulations:— "No person shall sell any intoxicating 'liquor to any member of the Dor fences Forces, or to anv member of the the Defence; Forces. when in uniform, for consumption elsewhere than on the premises' where it is sold. "No person shall give or supply or act as agent for the .purchase of auv intoxicating liquor for any member of tlio Defence Forces, when in uniform, for consumption elsewhere than_ on the premises where it is given, supplied, or purchased."
