FOUNDRY EMPLOYEE INJURED. A man named Edlin.was admitted to the Hospital yesterday suffering from injuries to his hand. The injured man had been working at a plane at Gable's foundry when his hand was caught' in the machine. •. At tihe Hospital one of the fingers had to .be amputated, while tyvo were found to be badly crushed. DEATH FROM NATURAL CAUSES. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) Cisbome, February 17. The inquest on the body of Archibald Leonard Foreman, the youthful boxer who died after a bout in tho boxing ring on Friday evening, was concluded to-day, when a verdict was returned of death from natural causes, no blame being attachable to anyone.
CHILD RON OVER BY A' LORRY. Chrlstohurch, February 17.
Basil M'lntosh, aged 6, was run over by a lorry attached to a traction engine at Flaxton this afternoon, an arm and leg being badly crushed. The arm was amputated, but the child never rallied, and died at 9.30 p.m.
