GARIBALDI INSISTS ON INTERVENTION. (Roe. February 17, 5.15 p.m.) ... . London, February 16. t Garibaldi, standing beneath the Italian flag, and accompanied by Garibaldian veterans, had an enthusiastic meeting in London. He declared'that Italy must come in on the side of the Allies, and hoped that the Italian army would soon bo marching through Austria. Ancona reports that Austrian torpedo boats seized twenty wheat steamers bound for Italy, and compelled them to unload at Trieste.—("TirnesV and Sydney "Sun" Services.)
