MARRIED MEN AS RECRUITS
PROTEST FROM HAMILTON. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) Hamilton, February 17. Owing t<i a growing disposition on the part of married msn to join the Expedi.tionary Force and ■ expecting the Defence Committee to provide for their wives and children, the local committee las decided to write to tie Defence Minister asking the Government to refuse to accept the services of married men who leave wives and families inadequately provided for, until the services of the single men have been exhausted.
