The following are the results of the Newtown Lawn Tennis Club's championship events to date: —

Men's Singles.—Allison beat Jackson, 6—o, 6—l; Allison beat Smith, 6 —2, 2—6, 6 —3; Smith beat Si6sous, 6 —4, 7 —5: Collins beat Bowen, 6 —2, 3 —6, 6 —4; Redward beat Read, 6—2, 6—l; Clark beat Norris, 6—2, 6—2; Redward beat Collins, 6—2, 6—o. Men's Doubles.—Clark, and Pratt beat' Read and Collins, 6—4, 4—6, 6 —2; Redward and M'Keuzie beat Sissons and Jackson, 6—3, 6—2; Clark and Pratt beat Bowen and Norris, 6 —2, B—6.8 —6. Championship Combined. — Mrs. Rhodes and Jones beat Miss Jenkins and Clark, 6—4, 6 —3; Miss Robinson and Redward beat Mrs. Rhodes and Jones, 6—4, B—6; Miss Veitch and Bowen boat Miss Printzen and Smith, 6-4, 7—5. Ladies' Doubles'.—No games yet played. Ladies' Singles.—Mrs. Bell beat Miss Veitch, 6—4, 3—6, 6—2; Miss M 'Lean beat' Mrs. Rhodes, 6—3, 6—3; Miss Jeninns won from Miss Clark by default. In the handicap events, Read (scr.) beat Vallance (10), 50—37, in tho final for the men's junior handicap. Miss Webb (2) beat Miss Carson (sc.), 40 —26. in the final for the ladies' junior handicap. In the men's handicap doubles, Messrs. Bowen and Norris play Messrs. Collins and Bray in the final.

In the Ladies' Handicap Singles, Miss Printzen plays Mrs. Nagle in the final. In the inter-club matches, both the ladies' and men's junior teams are so far unbeaten. The ladieß expect a tough "go" with Brougham Hill (present holders), whom they meet next.
