The Rev. Dr. Fordyce, a prominent Congregationalism has died in England. FREE TREATMENT AT NIGHT CLINICS. (Rec. February 15, 9.10 p.m.) Sydney, February 15. Mr. Flowers (Vice-President of the State Executive Council) has conferred with tho Council of the British Medical Association regarding tho doctors' objections to free treatment at night clinics. Mr. Flowers stated that the hospitals were built with public money, and he was unable to make distinctions. He would probably appoint a staff of permanent salaried men for the metropolitan hospitals, assisted by an honorary specialist staff. (Rec. February 16, 1.25 a.m.) Sydney, February 25. At the wool sales competition was not so keen for medium merinos, although the better classes, particularly super first combings, were strongly supported, top price being 13d.
