The annual report showed that the net profit for the year had been £5991 17s. 3d., .which, with the amount caried forward from the previous year, left £14,709 to'.be dealt with. The directors ■ .recommended that the balance bo applied as follows payment of dividend anil three per cent, bonus oil the paid-up capital aiid to -carry forward the balance. £9244. The •chairman, Mr. John tM'Queen, ■ moved the' adoption of the report, which was carried. " The seconder said they were charging the' maintenance of their; buildings and plant to ctirent revenue, and had a reserve fund. The dividend was .the same as tho:laettwo years, and they would air agree that an eight per cent, dividend was very satisfactory.
