The visitors, in acknowledging the welcome, said that the' Napier baths were the best in the Dominion. The Napier Operatic Society lost. £7 13s. over the recent production of "Miss Hook of Holland. Captain T. B. Bax, the champion club swinger, has been accepted for gervice at the front, and will receive the rank of captain. The Fifth Reinforcement draft, consisting of 110 men, will leave Napier on Monday for Trentham. Mr. T. J. Davidson lias been elected treasurer, and Mr. W. J. Francis secretary of the Hastings; U.F.S.
