WINGATUI TRACK WORK. ■ ~~ ' 1 (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) ' Dunedin, Fcbraary 12. Although a faiily large number of horses were out this morning, very little galloping took place. Steady cantering was the order of the day. Before breakfast Gapon and John Barleycorn worked ten furlongs, 1 the last eight in lmin. 49 2-56ec., . Moonglow ran fire furlongs in lmin. 6 2-sseo. Marvelite, Glenfern, Salzburg, Sir Brigid, Volspeil, Helicon, Jeannot, Officious, Trilby, Princess Flo, Chudic, Trireme, Qnirinius, Sea Maid, Redowa, Gold Rupee, Kim,' United Service, RU6SO, Floraline, Magdala, Varanian, and a couple of others did useful slow work. Ogier.ian a fairly solid mile and then cantered another circuit. Optician was schooled over the hurdles, and shaped well over a, couple of'flights, but was incline<L;to loiter at the others. This, no doubt, itas due to being schooled alone.
