The Dacia is a Hamburg-America ' liner, and was interned in New York at. ■ the outbreak of the war. 'The vessel was either purchased or chartered by a Mr. Breitung, a German-American whose intention it was to send the vessel loaded with food supplies to a Gir-' j man port. Tho Washington authorities, intimated to Mr. Breitung that, his action would .embarrass the\ Government,' and was not iii accordance with the duties of a good Amerioan citizeu.
