ENTERIC AT THE MAORI CAMP
DEATH.: AT AUCKLAND HOSPITAL,
(By Telegraphs-Press Association.) Auckland, February 1. The young Maori admitted from the Maori military camp at Avondale, suffering from enteric, died at the hospital last, night. .Dr. Rossiter, who has * supervision of Maori cases from the camp, does not agree with Dr. Partes that the enteric was of a mild nature, most of the cases brought to the hospital being severe in.type. Several,of the patients _ have been -inoculated against typhoid.- One of them has been twice inocnlated. # New Zealand Loan and Mercantile 'A&cncy Co. have a preliminary notice in ihjs issue that their periodical horse sale Bt Levin-will bo held dnring: March.
