CONSULS IN BRUGES SUSPENDED
TROUBLE ABOUT ESCUTCHEONS. Amsterdam, February 10. • The "Telegraaf" states that the Consuls at Bruges refused the military commander's order to remove their escutcheons, from their residences, AU the Consuls were suspended, and some of the escutcheons forcibly removed.
The Consuls were obliged to surrender their arms and uniforms..
The Turkish Consul has gone to Berlin, to enter a protest. '
