SUMMARY AND FORECAST Present indications are for strong westerly to south-westerly winds and changeable ard squally weather, with rain in many parte. The barometer will probably fall temporarily in the north, but is due to rise everywhere soon. Heavy rain has fallen in the West Coast and southern districts of the South Island, and cloudy weather has predominated. A westerly depression U now passing tho south, and northerly ond westerly winds hove prevailed, with increasing force today. D. 0. BATES. Meteorologies Office, Wellington, February 10, IJIS.
