For a period of 23 days ended January 31, the Talisman Consolidated crushed and treated 3330 tons of/ ore for a yield of bullion valued at £78,289 17s. lOd. . The costs for the past month totalled 555. 7d., made up as, follow :-One development, 21s, 4.d; mining, 16s. 10d.; milling. 14s. 9d.; general expenses, 2s. Bd. The superintendent sent to London the following . cablegram:—Woodstock north drive, progress 81 feet; south drive* 59 feet; sinking No. 6 winze, progress, 14 feet;-reef,'6o inohes wide; assay value, £10 and £9 15s. Driving south from No. 12 winie, progress 41 feet, reef 42 inches wide, valuers. Driving north, progress 14 feet, reef 9 inches wide. Started crosscutting west, progress 64 feet. Sinking No. 19 winze from 51 to 56 feet, reef wader than workings, value, £9,' from 56 to 76 feet, values nil. ' ! DIVIDEND DECLARED.
