HOSPITAL REPORTS. Reports from the Hospital last night) indicated that Sidney Shears, injured through falling from a ladder, is still in a vpry critical condition, whilo Private Harry Dorgej who was hit oil tho head by a stone near Xaiwarraj is progressing fairly well. Miss Ivy Richmoud; injured through falling from ii car, is reported to be getting on very well. WHARF LABOURER'S SUDDEN ' ,' DEATH., While shovelling coal on board the Eaitangata yesterday a man named Alfred Ellis collapsed suddenly, and died. Ellis was 35 years of age, and married, and lives in Wadestown. . The cause of death is surmised to be heart failure. An inquest will, however, bo hold. ; FATAIi'FALL FROM A BRIDGE. MINER SERIOUSLY INJURED. Waihi, February 8. Fred Kinsella, engaged in the Waihi Gold Mining Company's Waikino mill, received serious injury to his eye as the result' of a, pointed steel, instrument penetrating the eyeball. The injured man, along with his brother; had passed the medical test and intended leaving for Treiitham Camp this, morning. It was his last shift, and the accident occurred within half in hour of knockingoff time. BODY FOUND.
