The country being penetrated continues on the whole of the ea.m«-, favourable character, good for both progress and reef matter, stands the heavy blasting without requiring timber, and. proves that wc aro in the solid .leads Tock, - The north face uow measures 175 ft. from starting point at shaft, and south-east measures 95ft. from point at side oil chamber. In north drive wo arc continuing to pass through veins of triable quartz and.miueral; and rock throughout in both faces is strongly impregnated with pyritis. All machinery is working well.
