J$P new programme to be screened at the People's tPicture Palace to-day is headed by a stirring drama of. the stage, entitled "The Dancer's Venge?nc<v J ' This is said to contain some splendid scenes <rf Bohemian life, and a gripping story, portraying a dancer's remarkable scheme of vengeance upon a faithless lover. The story opens on the stage of a popular variety theatre, in which Lucie Simon, a celebrated premier danseuse, is giving a performance. Her.lover is flirting with another dancer, and this rouses- jealousy in her mind, and she devisee a cruel scheme, which ends in the faithless lover standing his trial on a murder charge. The many incidents which lead up to this point are intensely interesting. Supporting firms will be: "The Ordeal" (Selig), "I Should Say So," Husband's Love," "Warwick Graphic," "Around Bettws-y-ceed," and "Broncho Billy's Leap."
