Hiropi Street, Newtown, which is somewhat unique. This lady ha 6 donated a Royal Meissen art china tea service, and by permission of the Minister of Internal Affairs is disposing of same by means of an art union to be drawn on February 17, proceeds to be added to the moneys already obtained for the benefit of the poor in the countries named. A limited number of tickets are available, and anyoiie desirous of helping a good cause oan obtain same from Miss Hudson on application. We have to acknowledge receipt today of a purse containing a small sum of money, whicii we have been asked to add to the funds for the relief of the poor in England, Ireland, and Belgium. This purse was picked wby a subscriber, who tigus himself X, and although advertised, is without a claimant. Before entering the contents to the list as requested, we have decided to give publicity to the matter, so that the rightful owner may, if he or she desires, lay claim to the same.
