CAMPAIGNING IN DENSE FORESTS (Itec. January 29, 10.45 p.m.) Paris, January 29. After the battles in Belgium and Luxemburg in August last, several small French detachments, uiiablo to rejoin their corps, carried on a guerrilla warfare in dense woods for four months, ambushing passing Germans. One force of 460 ultimately passed the German lines and 'rejoined the French in the Argonne. The other bands_ still continue their guerrilla campaign.
