A TIMAEIJ PROPOSAL. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) Timaru, January 29. The local cominitteo of '•he British and Belgian Fund adopted a proposal to make arrangements to collect month-, ly contributions throughout South Canterbury. Tho proposer, Mr. G. S. Craig,', pointed out that Bd. per capita would produce £1200. A second proposal was adopted to circularise the iariuers urging them to give a percentage of their receipts from all sales of slock and produce. _ The committee allocated £200 to Staff Captain Sharp, representing Commissioner Hoddar, for tho Salvation Army War Emergency Relief Fund, adrawifi.
