« SUMMARY AND FORECAST Present indications are for moderate to etrong oaßtcrly and northerly winds generally. Tho barometer has a falling tendency everywhere. Expect warm weather, with increasing . cloud and haziness generally, and foggy at times in and southward of Cook Strait. Tho winds have been variable, with moderate to strong easterlies ruling northward of Kawhai and Castlcpoint, but northerlies and westerlies elsewhere. Tho weather has, been very warm and cloudy and misty at times. Fogs were reported to-day on tho West Coast of the South Island. Tho barometer roso last night, but has fallen slightly to-day. D. O.
