ACTION OF DUNEDIN IMPORTERS. (By IteteffroDh.—Press Association.) . Dunedin, January 27. A meeting of the Dunedin Chamber of Commerce was held this afternoon to consider what steps should be taken to secure the goods consigned to Dunedin ivlich are in German boats interned at Java. It was decided to fall in with the arrangements made by the Wellington Chamber- to appoint an authorised representative to proceed from Sydney to Java to act on behalf of the whole of the New Zealand importers, with the exception of goods carried by the Wismar, separate arrangements to 6ecure which have already been made. It was also decided to request Dunedin consignees interested to at once forward documents to Mr. Barr, secretary of the Dunedin Chamber. It is understood that the Dunedin cargo affected exclusive of the Wismar oargo is worth £200.
