The Press Bureau states- that the rebels operating in the south-east corner of German South-West Africa definitely abandoned the idea of. invading the Cape Province via Schiiitdrift after their recent setback. The TJliion troops, under Colonel Bon-' wer, operating from Stelnkopf, have seized Ramansdrift, and cleared the country of rebels. "We now hold the entire line of the Orange River,. _ and there is no enemy in Union territory near the eastern border, while their advance generally has been checked."—' ("Times" and Sydney "Sun"' Services.)
