TESTING THE 1915 B.S.A. • The B.S.A. Company ia a great believer in gaining first-hand information concerning the Toad conditions in the countries where B.S.A. motor-cycles are used, and Mr. D. Y. Rennie, the firm's travelling representative, was recently sent to New Zealand to spy out the land. Messrs. Adams, Ltd., planned a trip for Mr. Ronnie which would demonstrate the difficulties that "beset the New Zealand motor, cyclist in qnite a striking: manner. With Mr. G. B. Brown, Mr. Ronnie took a B.S.A. ilh.p. single-cylinder motorcycle three-speed countershaft gear (of oonrso) and side-car from Christchnrch through Arthur's Pass to Otira, TTnmara, Murcnison, Nelson, Blenheim, Glenhopo, Seddon, Kaikonro, Waiau, atld Hanmor, SOO miles, all overland. Tho trip was a tough one, hut the B.S.A. and side-car (weighing 8001b. with passengers), camo through magnificently, The capabilities of the 3-speed gear wore fully demonstrated, and so pleased were Messrs. Adams, Ltd*, with the resnlt of this "fuelling "try-out" that they cabled trebling their standing orders for B.S.A. motor-Cycles. A small shipment has just arrived, and prospective purchasers should order early.
