Barometer unsteady, with a rising tendency at present in tie Eouth, but falling again everywhere Boon. Strong west to south-westerly winds have ruled, tho barometer rising in the north on Saturday and Sunday, but continuing low and very unsteady in the south. Heavy rain has fallen on the West Ooast, and southern districts, and scattered showers elsewhere, but fair to cloudy weather has predominated. 1 D. C. BATES.
