THE PERTH TRAGEDY. Perth, January 23. Cutay, alias Facheri lias been committed for trial for murder. Cutay handed in a written confession, and said: "I have committed a terrible crimo, to tho dishonour of my nation, my flag, my country, and my religion. I don't know why I did it. I beg only that you will kill mo as soon as possiblo. I am terribly sorry. I don't want any morcy, but_ full justice. Please ask no more questions; I am unable to answer. Please kill me, kill me!" [A girl named Bell, agod twelve, who had been sleeping on tho verandah of her home, was discovered dead, with her head shattered., Facheri, who had been employed by the girl's father, was missing. He had insulted a younger sister on tho night prior to tho tragedy, whereupon tho father dismissed him. The police state that the victim was choked and outraged before her head was battered by an axe.]
