PROHIBITION SUGGESTED. Melbourne, January 23. A deputation of master tanners point* ed out to tho Minister of Customs (Mr. Tudor) that since the war began, therfi had been a great increase in tho exportation of liides to countries ■ not allied to Britain. Apart from dofonce contracts they urged that unless the ex« port was restricted there would soon bi a local shortage. | . Mr. Tudor is considering tne matter.
