Under charter to tr.o Union Company the steamer .Hornelen is reported to havo left Vancouver on January 20 for Auckland, Wellington, and Sydney. The Hornelen is' a Norwegian steamer of 3766 tons, built in 1906 by J. Pric6tman and Co., at Sunderland. Messrs. Hatrick and 00. advise .that the coastal steamer Tainui will bo dispatched for Wnitara from Wellington to-day. Havinir left Auckland for the Eastorn Pacifla Islands on Wednesday last tho Tannni ,is duo book at tho northern port on February 11. It wis originally intended that the Mapourika. would return from New Plymouth to Wellington this trip. These arrangements havo now boen altered, however, and tho vc?sol, which arrived at New Plymouth from this port at 11 a.m. yesterday, will visit Wostport before coming on to Wellington. On account of tho Mapourika's Wellington Picton trip having been abandoned, tho Tatcona, which will leave Wellington for Picton and Nelson at 6. p.m. on Monday, will'leave Nelson for Picton and Wellington at 9.30 a.m. on Tuesday. She is duo here about 10 o'clock on Tuesday evonlng. Arrangements have been mado for the Karori to leave Y/clllngton on Tuesday next for Lytteiton with ehoop.
