RUSSIAN SUCCESSES
At last the Frenoh military authorities aTe able to declare officially that the German offensive has been broken ,both in the West and the Bast. Violent attacks on the 'Allies* line at various points in France are reported this morning, but no gain by the enemy is recorded, and there hare been several slight advances by the.AUies. In the Russian campaign the principal field of activity for the moment is in Bukowina, the most easterly portion of Galicia, and here the Russians are stated to be holding the mountain passes leading into Hungary. An interesting outline of the Russian plan of campaign is given by a ' correspondent of the London "Daily Telegraph."- ,
