TESTING THE 1915 B.S.A. The B.S.A. Company is a great believer in gaining first-hand information concerning the road conditions In the' countries where B.S.A. motor-oyoles ar& used, and Mr. D. T. Ronnie, the firm's travelling representative, was recently sent to New Zealand to spy out the land. Messrs. Adams, Ltd., planned a trip for Mr. Rennie which would demonstrate the difficulties that beset the New Zealnnd motor cyclist in quite a striking manner. With Mr. G. B. Brown, Mr. Ronnie took a B.S.A. 41h.p. single-cylinder -motoroyclo thr&j-speed countershaft pear (of conrso) aid side-car from ChristchuTch through Arthur's Pass to Otira, Kumarn, Murchison, -Nelson, Blenheim, Glonhopo, Seddon, Kaikoura, Waiau, and Hanmer, 800 miles, all overland. The trip was a tough one, but the B.S.A. and Bide-oar (weighing 8001b. with passengers), came through magnificently. The capabilities of the 3-speed gear wero fully demonstrated, and so pleased were Messrs. Adams, Ltd., with the result of this gruelling "try-out" that they cabled trebling their standing orders for B.S.A. motor-cycles. A small shipment has just arrived, and prospective purchasers .should order early. Adams, Ltd., Chvistclmrch, Palmcrston North, and Wanganui. Agents: Sutherland r.nd Ra'nkiue, Wellington; Tourist Motor Co., Hastings.—Advt.
