SUMMARY AND FORECAST Present indications are tor stormy conditions, cooler weather soon, with rain probable generally, and rivers flooded on the West Coast and southern districts. Expect high west to south-west-erly winds, barometer unsteady, but rising everywhere shortly. Strong westerly winds have ruled, with high temperatures in the East Coast district, and rain has fallen on the West Coast. Considerable rain reported in Southland. ■ D. 0.
