EEVENUE AND EXPENDITURE. The usual four-weekly statement of the revenue and expenditure of the city tramways was laid before the Tramways Committee of the City Council on Tuesday afternoon. The statement is extremely satisfactory; not only have the number of passengers carried and car miles run increased, but the total revenue is becoming greater as the system is extended.
