HAMBURG-AMERIKA LINER SUNK
BY BRITISH CRUISER Havana, January 18. A.British cruiser is reported to have sunk the Hamburg-American liner President, off Cuba, while proceeding from Porto Rioo to Havtna. Lloyd's Register does not give a Hamburg-American linor named President, but there are two steamers belonging to that company named President Grant and Lincoln, each of 18,000 tons. CERMAN STEAMERS MINED IN THE BALTIO. FIVE IN ONE FORTNIGHT. Stockholm, January 18.
