HAMBURG-AMERIKA LINER SUNK
BY BRITISH CRUISER Havana, January 18. A.British cruiser is reported to have sunk the Hamburg-American liner President, off Cuba, while proceeding from Porto Rioo to Havtna. Lloyd's Register does not give a Hamburg-American linor named President, but there are two steamers belonging to that company named President Grant and Lincoln, each of 18,000 tons.
