Mr. George BuUer,-the. well known theatrical manager, and Mrs, BuUer arrived from the smith by the Westralia yesterday. Mr. Btiller will manage the George Wllloiighby Dramatic Company, which opens afthe Grand Opera House to-night with "The Ever Open Deor." Mr George Cross arid Miss Vera Remee, also members of the George Willoughby Dramatio Company arrived by the Westralia yesterday.

' Commissioner H. C. Hodder, of the Salvation Army, will leave for Auckland to-morrow, and will be accorded a civic welcome there on Wednesday afternoon and a public reception in the. evening. On Thursday and Friday he will inspect the Inebriate Homes at Pakatoa and Roto Boa Islands) in Auckland Harbour. On Sunday-next the Commissioner will conduct ttie services in person at Auckland Central, and on Monday he will speak at Newton. The following day he will leave for TaUranea, via Rotorua, and whilst there will inspect the Salvation Army's Maori Settlement fit Rangiwai. The return trip to Wellington will be made via Waihi. A little later he will pay official visits to the various centres, in the Hawke's Bay and Taranaki districts. On his northern tour the Commissioner will be accom; pained by Mrs. Hodder and Cojonel and Mrs. Powley, and Brigadier Bray will escort'the Commissioner over the Army's social reform homes in Auckland. ■ '
