OUTBREAKS AT DU NEDIN. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) Dunedin, January 15. A. fire at Maori Hill this afternoon resulted in the complete destruction of a six-roomed house owned by «Jas. Drummond, carpenter. Tho rear portion of one adjoining house, owned by John King, was considerably damaged, while a seven-roomed house oil the other side owned h.V T. Young- was badly scoroliod. Drummond s nous© wjis in* surod for £300 in the Standard Office, and the furniture for £260 in the. Atlas Office. King's house was insured m the London and Liverpool and Glohe Office for £310, and the contents in the same office for £130, and Young's house was insured in the Victoria Office for £3/0 and tho contents in the Queensland Office for £150. ,ij i A twelro-roomea house Jit Audorson s Bay, owned by Mrs. John White, and occupied bv Mr. George Moodie, was destroyed by fire this afternoon•~J : ne lire is suppo to hay© started bedroom upstairs. The house was insured for £1000 in the Standard Office, and the furniture for £600 in the same office. Furniture to the value of about £400 was saved. Tho house was valued at £1400 and the furniture at £800.
