FROZEN MEAT IN WAR TIME
EXPERIENCE OF THE TRADE. , London, January 14. Weddel's annual review of tho meat trade says thai , the experiences of the war have already shown for ease of transport and capacity to stand exposure, and economy in handling, frozen meat is far superior to fresh killed or ehilldd. France's removal of her reetrictions must materially influence the whole trade for some time. She is admitting frozen meat not only for military requirements, but also to 'protect her .own flocks and herds froin undue, depletion. It is impossible to forecast the course of the market, but while the British Navy retains control of the sea, and tho supply of insulated tonnage is maintained, it is scarcely likely that prices will advance further.
