WELCOMED AT TIMARU. IBy Association.) Timaru, January 13. . The Hon. 'A. Fisher' and ' Mr. Boyd | met at Rangit-ata in the afternoon by Mr. J. Craigie, M.P., who gave them information, about South Canterbury. A considerable number, including the Mayor, councillors, ' and some old friends of Mr. Fisher,-met the visitors at the station. The Mayor welcomed Mr. Fisher, who replied, touching on matters dealt with in his Wellington , speeches. Tho visitors left for Mount Coolc on ■the Fairlie train.
