The following have been elected as tho officer of tho Wellington General Labourers' Union for the ensuing year: President, Mr. F. Stott; vice-president, Mr. W. Jackson (re-elected); secretary, Mr. L. Nicholson (re-oleoted); secretary, Mr, M. J. Roai'don (re-elected). Mr. J. M. Campbell, who only took up the position of president to carry out the policy of the union during tho period of the strike, retired from tho position. Tho result of the recent election is tbe retention of the arbitration policy. -
