The Wellington Fruit k, brokers'-Association wrote to the effect. i: i tbat. they ; could not comply with tlie ! request for a donation. The Wellington i Publishing Company advised that it was i repeating last' year's donation of £JJ 3s. 5 Mr. Holmes-Warren notified that,he had / posted his donation list (£3 35.). Mr. S J. Dixon offered £35 for the soft drinks ; booth at the show, and stated that he i would make iris usual donation of soft [ drinks for fthe stewards' room.- It-was i decided that-this offer be accepted, and H'the secretary; was instructed to fchanK 1 Mr. Dixon'for )>is donation. The Ground Committee's report was .' read.
