NEW GARRISON. The following officers have been appointed on probation to the new Samoan i'orce:—; ■ Auckland District. Infantry (two officers).— Lieut. R. C. Smith (first appointment) and Lieut. R. F. Miller. Mounted Troop (one officer).—Yet to be appointed. Detachment Army Service Corps.— Lieut. C. Mackie. . Mounted Troop.—Lieut. J. D. Catkins. Wellington District. .Infantry Company (two efficeres).Major G. W. TJockcroft, 9th (Hawke'a myV Regiment; Captain J. W. Boon, late 11th Regiment (laranaki Rifles). Infantry Platoon (one officer).—Lieut. \r barter,: Reserve of Officers. Machine Gun Section (one officer).— Lieut. H. W. Martyn-Roberte, Wellington Garrison Artillery Division. Mounted Troop (one officer).—Captain J. A. Algie, Unattached List (b). ■ ' Canterbury District. _ Infantry Company (two officers).— Captain N. P. Adams. H Battery, New Zealand Field Artillery; Lieut.
