GREATEST EDUCATOR
SIR E. BADEN-POWELL London, January 7. 'At a c'onferenoe of teaohers of the Guild of Great Britain and Ireland, Professor Finlay, of Manohester, declared that General Sir Robert Baden-Powell was the greatest educator of the day, and he (the speaker) believed that after the war Britain would see a wholesome compulsion such as youth itself welcomed, together with a acceptance of responsibility to tho nation. Professor Fmlay, of Manchester, is one of the leading authorities of the world on education. He lectured in Wellington a few months ago in connection with the Science Congress held under the auspices of tho British Association.
