Present indications aire, for a. continuance of cloudy and 'misty conditions, with saowers in; many parfa of tno country, Moderate to strong westerly to southerly winds aro likely to prevail. Barometer unsteady, but with a foiling ton- • dency in the north. Dul and mibty weather has predominated, with drizzling rain in parts southward of New Plymouth end Napier, but heavy rain. has fallen on the West Coast of the South Island. The winds have been moderate to strong and variable, and the distribution of atmospheric pressure has not altered apprceiably since ■ Meteorological Office, Wellington, January 8, 1915.
