SUMMARY AND FORECAST Present indications are for northerly breezos, giving place to freshening easterlies northward of Kavrh&i and. East >Cape, and for moderate to strong westerlies, changing by south to southeasterly shortly elsewhere. Dull and misty . weather probable generally, and colder in the south, with rain in most parts of the country. The barometer has a falling tendency in the northern districts, but is likely to rise elsewhere. In the northernmost and East Coast districts of the North Island fair weather has prevailed, but eleewhtire gloomy coqditious have been experienced, with passing showers. The winds have open moderate to strong and variable, but the predominating direction has been westerly. Barometric pressure hhs been nnsteady. B. V.
