When Serge returns from the front he -finds that his uncle's money has been stolen, but he is unable to discover the Syief. , Leary has taken the money., and is living in luxury .on the fortune. Years pass; and after many adventures, Serge regains his stolen fortune. "The Latest War Nowe" will be among the supplementary films... EVERYBODY'S THEATRE. To see "Caught in a Cabaret," the Keystone comedy at present showing at Everybody's Pictures, Manners Street, is tosses, one of "the most laughable and interesting comic films shown' in Wellington. Again, if it is only to concentrate tho attention on the absurdly awkward eccentricities of Charles Chaplin, the picture is well worth seeing. But besides this clever manufacturer of comedy, there are other prominent Keystone artists taking part in a laughable plot, and plenty of incident. The supporting films include "Every Man' Has His Price" (a ; powerful drama), "A Coward's Sacrifice" (drama of human interest), the latest War Graphic, and other subjects. PEOPLE'S PICTURE PALACE. . All sessions of the continuous picture show at the People's Picture Palace were well attended yesterday, the programme being an attractive one. A new series of filmß will be screened to-day, the leading subject being an Imp drama entitled "The Sea C-past of Bohemia," which deals with the love story of an artist. Disgusted with the progress of his work in the city, the young artist turns to tho country for something better. and; while engaged in painting • a picture at a farmhouse, ho makes the acquaintance of a wealthy girl, whose fortune is to pass away unless she marrios before Teaching the age of 21. She falls in love with the artist, proposes marriage to him, and ho consents in order to save her fortune from reverting to her guardian. Numerous difficulties have to be surmounted prior to ths marriage, but these are overcome, and subsequently the artist learns to love his wife. In addition to the feature film, the'following supporting items will be included in to-day s programme : "Operator and Superintendent" (Nestor drama), "Fable of the Champion Who Was Delayed"- (S. and A. comedy), "Flirty Florence" (Frontier comedy); and the "Eclair Journal" (topical);
