The representative match between Canterbury and Wellington which was set down for Friday, Saturday, and Monday next will now be played on Saturday, Monday, and Tuesday. The annual tennis championship tournament, which opened on the Pahiatua courts on New Year's Day, was concluded on Monday.' The tournament, was a great success, the entries numbering over 160. The men's championship singles was won by Powdrell, of Wanganui; the ladies' championship singles by Miss Curtis, of Petone; the men's championship doubles.by Swainspti. and.'
